Wing Zero

The Wing Zero, in my opinion, is the most powerful MS in the whole series, but anyway it was actually made fifteen year ago in A.C. 180 by the five scientist who made the firt MSs for the Alliance. The Wing Zero has a special system installed in it: The ZERO System, from which the Gundam gets it name. the scientists frightened of the Gundam's sheer power, don't complete it. In A.C. 195, Gundam Pilot Quatre Rebarba Winner, taking revenge for his father's death, stumbles upon the Wing Zero's blueprints. He brings the Gundam to life and destroys a colony and an OZ asteroid. The Wing Zero is then abanded and ends up eventually to Gundam Pilot Heero Yuy. The Wing Zero can tranform into a "Neo-Bird-Mode" to use in re-entry and to fly in the Earth's atmosphere. It is equipped with a twin buster rifle, two shoulder machine guns, two beam sabers, and a pair of wing vulcans.

After the Shenlong Gundam was captured by OZ, the five scientists were secretly working on the Deathscythe and Shenlong, updating them. After they were finished, the results were the Deathscythe Hell and the Altron Gundam. Like the Shenlong Gundam, the Altron Gundam is also piloted by Wufei. This Gundam is faster than the Shenlong thanks to the "random binders" on its back. It is also equipped with the double-edged beam trident, a twin turrent mounted beam cannon, two extendable dragon fang and four flamethrowers.

Gundam Wing Dictionary

EarthSphere Alliance

n.: An alliance made up of most of the countries of Earth and its colonies in space, it established rule by means of military domination.

Gundam n.:

An extremely powerful mobile suit, built by the colonies, to fight the tyranny of the the OZ organization.

Gundanium n.:

An extremely durable alloy developed in space by the colonies; the Gundams are constructed of this material.

Mobile Suit n.:

A humaniod war machine, usually between 10 and 16 meters in height, controlled by a human pilot.

OZ n.:

An organization dedicated to the disbandment of the EarthSphere Alliance and the placement of itself as the ruling organization on the Earth and the Colonies.

Romafeller Foundation n.:

The group behind the OZ Organization, it is comprised of many people of wealth or former royalty; the group is blind to the horror of the war between OZ, the EarthSphere Alliance, and the Gundams.

ZERO System n.:

A special type of cockpit that bypasses the pilot's slow senses, feeding audio and video sensor data directly to the brain through a wetware interface. The system also analyzes the battle situation, determines the best course of action, and sends it to the pilot's brain. The pilot's brain interprets this as a sort of vision or hallucination, causing many pilots to believe it is their inevitable future. This sometimes leads to insanity, and is why it's creators abandoned it's development, although Heero Yuy's Wing ZERO and Colonel Zecks' Epyon both have such a system.
